Een week of twee geleden voor het eerst van m’n leven gekart. Dat was wel erg gaaf zeg! Ik blijk niet het natuurtalent van Albers of Doornbos te hebben, maar ik schijn ook niet helemaal laatste te zijn geworden. We hebben met een groep mensen van het werk wanwege een succesvolle oplevering bij DeFrabrique gekart.

Eigenlijk helemaal niet gemerkt, maar Popstars – The rivals is vorige week afgelopen. De laatste tijd helemaal niet gekeken, ‘t kon me echt niets meer intereseren. Vorige week woensdag scheen de finale geweest te zijn. In tegenstelling tot Idols en BigBrother enzo ook is er ook weinig tot geen gesprekken of aandacht aan besteed.

I just read in the Computable that Telfort (one of the telcos in The Netherlands) will start rolling out an UMTS network using Huawei equipment, as the first one in europe. A few months ago, Telfort said that the in the current state UMTS is worthless and that until the arrival of HSDPA with its 8-10MBit bandwidth, it doesn’t make sense using it and that they will use EDGE instead. At that time I wrote that the CEO of Telfort was overestimating the speed of HSDPA and I didn’t understand why he made that statement (but that it made sense to use EDGE as a temporary solution).

Zo af en toe klik ik voor de grap eens op m’n Nedstat icoontje om te kijken hoeveel bezoekers er nu weer langs zijn gekomen. Een van de leukste dingen die je kan zien zijn de zoektermen die gebruikt worden. Een greep uit de lijst (met erachter de plek in google):

Sure, I’d like to see my to-do list, but no, I don’t want to keep two to-do lists…

Today, I updated my weblog to WordPress. Mainly because I am really tired of having to manually delete spam-comments, and I hope that WordPress can handle these better than b2. The upgrading process was quite simple: downloading the .zip, unzipping, inserting the database connection settings, uploading everything, pointing to an URL, pressing next a few times, and that was that.
